Visual Studio 2017 Resources

Visual Studio 2017 was launched March 7, 2017 and this live event was streamed around the world. Excitement for VS 2017 is growing and the number of new changes in the IDE is mind-boggling. To help with these changes, Microsoft has provided a few new resources to help developers.

Visual Studio 2017 Poster

Microsoft has created this huge poster to show off some of the new features in Visual Studio 2017. The poster highlights multiple items including Live Unit Testing, C# 7, .NET Standard and the new .NET Core Tooling. It also includes quick tips to improve your productivity in the IDE. This poster comes in two versions large enough for any space:

If you would rather have the usual text descriptions of the changes instead, you can read the VS 2017 release notes.

Visual Studio 2017 Keyboard Shortcuts

The VS team at Microsoft also realizes developers might need help navigating the new IDE. So, they have come up with this new cheat sheet of keyboard shortcuts for Visual Studio 2017.

Visual Studio 2017 Launch Videos

If you want to watch, or re-watch, all 69 videos streamed during the two-day launch event, head over to Channel 9 where you can find the entire playlist. Channel 9 allows you to both stream the videos from their site or download them for offline viewing. Some videos also have additional content like presenter slides.
